American Goth Girl in London

I live in a perpetual state of wonder on my quest for whimsy, the oddly beautiful, the beautifully odd, and the perfect cup of coffee. The latter is particularly elusive in a country of tea drinkers.

eldergothfather asked: (cont) I don't care. It's enough trying to put food on the table, travel back and forth to a soul-less job each day and hope that mu children grow up strong and healthy and safely. While I encourage you to have your own thoughts, I'd just like to say as ONE atheist, if you would not care to be grouped with all the shenanigans of the Bachmann's, the Palin's and Santorum's, don't do it to others. We are different and as Ricky Gervais would say, "if there is a god, why did he make me an atheist?"

If you had taken care to read what I had written, then you would have noticed how I did not do what that meme did: MAKE SWEEPING GENERALISATIONS.

Oh, and I’m married to an atheist, and we have a child. Thanks for further proving my point. In regards to the Gervais quote, God didn’t make you anything. You’re being rude of your own free will.
